About AL-ANWAR
Founded in 2018, Al-ANWAR (eISSN 0128-0279) is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on linguistics, literature, teaching and learning of Arabic, Islamic studies, and Islamic civilization. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December, and can be considered one of the most active academic journals in this field internationally.
The international perspective of the journal is also realized through its trilingual approach, which is publishing articles in Malay, English, and Arabic. Published articles include academic papers, book reviews, research reports, conference papers, and others related to the field of Islamic studies and civilization, as well as other fields written from the perspective of humanities studies.
All submitted articles must report original, unpublished research results, whether experimental or theoretical, and will undergo a peer-reviewed process. Articles submitted to this journal must meet the established criteria and not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must follow the writing style of this journal and are subject to a review and editing process.
Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports the broader global exchange of knowledge.

- Comparative linguistics between Arabic and other languages.
